I profess⁴³ myself to be a worshipper of Hormazd,⁴⁴ follower in accordance with the religion revealed by (the prophet) Zarathushtra,⁴⁵  abstainer from (the malpractices of) dãevas⁴⁶and follower of the doctrines of Ahura Mazda⁴⁷

During the time¹¹ of Holy⁹ and pure¹⁰ Rapithwan⁸

yasnãicha¹² vahmãicha¹³ khshnaothrãicha¹⁴ frasastayaecha,¹⁵

for his worship¹², veneration¹³, propitiation¹⁴ and ---glorification,¹⁵ 

frâdat-fshave¹⁶  zañtumâica¹⁷ ashaone¹⁸ ashahe¹⁹ rathwe²⁰, 

During the of Holy1⁹ and pure¹⁸ time²⁰  when (the functions) of giving rest or relief to beasts16,   and the Lord or chieftain of the town¹⁷goes  for the pleasure²⁸ (of the lord Ahura Mazda)

for his worship²¹, veneration²², propitiation²³ and ---glorification,²⁴

for his worship²¹, veneration²², propitiation²³ and ---glorification,²⁴ 

yathã Ahu Vairyõ zaotã⁶⁰  frã-me⁶¹ mrute,⁶² athã ratush ashãt chit hacha⁶³ frã ashava⁶⁴ vidhvão⁶⁵ mraotu.⁶⁶ 

let the Zaotar⁶⁰ (officiating priest⁶⁰)recite⁶² to me⁶¹ (also means speak loudly,  speak in a loud tone). the (the excellences of the sacred verses of) Yathã Ahu Vairyõ⁵⁹  (** translation Ahunavar)  Let (Rãspi the assistant priest who is) righteous⁶⁴ and learned⁶⁵ recite⁶⁶ (the excellences of such verses)

Ahurem mazdãm¹ ashavanem² ashahe³ ratûm⁴ ýazamaide⁵;

We praise⁵ Ahura Mazda¹, the holy² Lord⁴ of righteousness³ ,

zarathushtrem⁶ ashavanem⁷ ashahe⁸ ratûm⁹ ýazamaide¹⁰;

We also praise¹⁰ Zarathushtra⁶, the holy⁷ Lord⁹ of righteousness⁸

zarathushtrahe¹¹ ashaonô¹² fravashîm¹³ ýazamaide¹⁴;

We revere¹⁴ the fravashi¹³ of the holy¹² Zaratthushtra¹³ , 

Ameshê speñtê¹⁵ ashaonãm¹⁶ ýazamaide¹⁷.

We praise¹⁷ the holy^16,18 bountiful immortals¹⁵ 
(or we praise the bountiful immortals who protect the righteous persons (Mills))

ashâunãm¹⁸ vanguhîsh¹⁹ sûråo²⁰ speñtåo²¹ fravashayô²² ýazamaide²³

We worship²³ the good¹⁹ heroic²⁰ and benefic²¹ fravashis²² of the righteous¹⁸.

astvatô²⁴ manakhyâcha²⁵ apanôtemem²⁶ rathwãm²⁷ ýazamaide²⁸

We praise²⁸ the highest²⁶ (lord)  amongst the lords²⁷ of the corporeal (world)²⁴ and of the spiritual (world)²⁵ 

ýaêtushtemem²⁹ ýazatanãm³⁰ hanghanushtemem³¹ ashahe³² rathwãm³³ aiwinasãstemem,³⁴

We praise⁴⁰ the most helpful²⁹ of the yazatas³⁰ (and) the most worthy³¹ amongst the lords³³ of  righteousness³² (and) most reaching  effective for help³⁴ 

jaghmûshtemãm³⁵ ashaonô³⁶ ashahe³⁷ rathwô³⁸ ratufritîm³⁹ ýazamaide⁴⁰!

and the well timed³⁸ prayer³⁹ the most helpful³⁵ for the holy³⁶ lord³⁵ of holiness³⁷.

we worship⁹ the Fshusha7 Manthra⁸ 
(the hymn of prosperity), (Yasna Ha 58 is generally called the hymn of prosperity)

vacha¹³ arshukhdha¹⁴ ýazamaide¹⁵,

and we praise¹¹ ( worship) the  word¹¹ truthfully spoken¹⁰, 
we worship¹⁵ the truthfully spoken¹⁴ sayings¹³, 

vârethraghnîsh¹⁶ daêvô-khnîta¹⁷ ýazamaide¹⁸, 

we praise¹⁸ the victorious¹⁶ (sacred verses), smiting. the Daevas¹⁷.  

apascha¹⁹ zemascha²⁰ ýazamaide²¹,

We worship²¹ the waters¹⁹ and lands²⁰ (the Earth);

urvaråoscha,²² mainyavacha²³ ýazata²⁴ ýazamaide²⁵, 
ýôi²⁶ vanghazdå²⁷ ashavanô²⁸,

we worship²⁵ the plants²² 
and the heavenly²³ Yazatas²⁴  
who²⁶ are righteous²⁸, and 
bestowers of better (things)²⁷;

ameshêscha²⁹ Speñtê²⁹ ashaonãm³⁰ ýazamaide³¹.

and we worship³¹ the righteous³⁰ bountiful immortals²⁹ ( Amesha²⁹ Spentas)²⁹

We worship²³ the (excellent) good¹⁹ heroic²⁰ and benefic²¹ fravashis²² of the righteous¹⁸.

We worship²³ the essence (chief points⁷) of Asha⁸ Vahishta¹⁰: and

mazishta¹¹ mãthra¹² 

mazishta verezya¹⁴, 

mazishta urvaithya¹⁶, 
mazishta
haithyâ-verezya¹⁸,  
mazishta vîndaithya²⁰, daênayå²¹ mâzdayasnôish²² ýazamaide²³,

the greatest¹¹ Holy Spell¹², 
of the religion²¹ of Ahura²² Mazda²²
which are the greatest in causing effect¹⁴ (which are very effective), 
the greatest in accomplishing any work¹⁶,

in performing just actions¹⁸,
and in acquiring (any want)²⁰.

For the worship of the lord Zantuma  (i.e. the Lord of the town), and for his veneration 

avat vyâkhnemcha hañjamanemcha ýat asti ameshanãm speñtanãm bareshnavô avanghe ashnô ghimatem 

We worship this meeting and  assembly of the bountiful immortals (Amesha Spentas) which is situated on the heights of the yonder sky. 

zañtumahe rathwô ýasnâicha vahmâicha,

We  praise⁵ Zantuma (the Lord of the town), 

ashavanem² ashahe³ ratûm⁴ ýazamaide⁵,

the holy² lord⁴ of righteousness³

We worship Ardibehesht²¹, the fire²², the purifier²⁵ (of all things) pertaining to Ahura²³ Mazda²⁴.  
(also translated as puthrem⁴=puthra = son)
i.e. fire, the son of Ahura Mazda!

Thwãm¹ âtarem² Ahurahe Mazdåo³ puthrem⁴ ashavanem⁵ 
ashahe⁶ ratûm⁷ ýazamaide⁸;

We revere⁸ thee,¹ 
O Holy⁵ fire² , 
the purifier⁴ ( of all things) 
pertaining to Ahura Mazda,³  
the lord⁷ of righteousness⁶.

hadha-zaothrem⁹ hadha-aiwyånghanem¹⁰, imat¹¹ baresma¹² ashaya¹³ frastaretem¹⁴, ashavanem¹⁵ 

 

We revere this¹¹ Baresman¹² (which) together with the libations⁹ (and) together with the Aiwyaongha¹⁰ (is) spread¹⁴ with holines¹⁵ ; 

 

ashahe¹⁶ ratûm¹⁷ ýazamaide¹⁸; 

 

we also revere¹⁸ the Lord¹⁷ of righteousness¹⁶.

 

Apãm¹⁹ Naptârem²⁰ ýazamaide²¹,

 

 We revere³¹ the Navel²⁰ of waters¹⁹; 

Nairîm²² Sanghem²² ýazamaide²³

we revere²³ (the Fire) Neryosang²³ 

 

 takhmem²⁴ dâmôish upamanem²⁵ ýazatem²⁶ ýazamaide²⁷; 

 

We revere²⁷  the powerful²⁴ 
Yazata²⁶  (named) Dami Upamana;²⁵. 

iristanãm²⁸ urvãnô²⁹ ýazamaide³⁰, ýåo³¹ ashaonãm³² fravashayô³³, 

 

 We worship³⁰ the souls²⁹ of the departed²⁸ who³¹ are the Fravashis³³ of the Righteous (people)³².

We worship³ the exalted² Lord¹ 

ýim⁴ Ahurem⁵ Mazdãm⁵,

who⁴ ( is)  Ahura Mazda⁵, 

ýô⁶ ashahe⁷ apanôtemô⁸, 

who⁶ is highest⁸ in holiness,⁷ 

ýô⁹ ashahe¹⁰ jakhmûshtemô¹¹, 

(and) who⁹ is most helpful¹¹ in righteousness¹⁰.  

vîspa¹² sravåo¹³ Zarathushtri¹⁴ ýazamaide;¹⁵

We revere¹⁵ all¹² the sacred verses¹³ of (he prophet) Zarathushtra¹⁴, 

vîspacha¹⁶ hvarshta¹⁷ shyaothna¹⁸ ýazamaide,¹⁹

and all¹⁶ well-performed¹⁷ deeds¹⁸ (religious ceremonies) 

 

 varshtacha²⁰ vareshyamnacha²¹.

 

which  have been performed²⁰ and shall be performed hereafter²¹. 

 Yenghe¹² hãtãm¹³

Among the living beings¹³ whoever¹² (is)

ãat¹⁴ yesne¹⁵ paiti¹⁶ vanghõ¹⁷

better¹⁷ in acts of worship,^15-16

Mazdão¹⁸ Ahuro¹⁸ vaethã¹⁹

of which¹² Ahura Mazda¹⁸ (Himself) is aware,¹⁹

ashãt²⁰ hachã,²¹

on account²¹ of His holiness²⁰, 

Yãonghãmachã²² tãnschã²³ tãoschã²⁴ yazamaide.²⁵ 

all such²² men²³ and women²⁴ we revere.²⁵
